This UL 1072 compliant 3-conductor shielded MV cable adopts compressed bare copper conductors, 115 mils NL-EPR insulation rated 105℃ for dry & wet locations, double semi-conductive layers and overlapping copper tape shield (CTS), covered with wear-resistant PVC outer jacket. It supports dual voltage grades: 5kV 133% insulation level for ungrounded systems and 8kV 100% insulation level for grounded grids, resisting moisture, UV and chemical corrosion. Suitable for direct burial, cable tray, conduit and aerial wiring in commercial & industrial power distribution, it stabilizes electric field, blocks EMI interference and handles ground fault current safely, with thick insulation offering extra dielectric safety margin for long-term stable operation under heavy load.

Product Description

 

The 3 Conductor MV-105 Power Cables consist of fully annealed bare copper Class B stranded conductors, covered with ethylene propylene  rubber (EPR), copper tape shield, and black PVC jacket. These cables are used in industrial power circuits.

  • In conduit, duct, free air, direct burial and raceways, primary installations include cable trays, and outdoor locations
  • In wet or dry locations
  • Approved for Class I, Div. 2 industrial hazardous locations per NEC
  • Designed to operate continuously at a conductor temperature not exceeding

105°C for normal operations

140°C for emergency overload

250°C for short circuit
