This cable is especially suitable for domestic wiring.

A correctly engineered compression crimp is normally preferred for fine-stranded high-current cable. GERITEL WIRE can supply crimped welding cable assemblies using approved lugs, dies and inspection criteria, avoiding uncontrolled solder-only joints and stiff stress points.
Can I crimp and solder the same welding cable lug?
Only use a combined process when an approved procedure specifically requires it. Uncontrolled solder can wick into the conductor and complicate inspection. GERITEL WIRE recommends a validated welding cable lug crimp process with pull, dimensional or resistance checks as required.
What lug material should be used for copper welding cable?
Use copper or approved tinned-copper lugs that match fine-stranded copper and the operating environment. GERITEL WIRE can pair copper welding cable lugs with the specified cable size, stud hole, barrel length and plating for assembly orders.
How do I choose the correct lug barrel size?
