The 4x35+1x10E HFS-110-TP cable is a flexible 0.6/1kV multicore construction for industrial circuits that require three phases, neutral and earth. Its Class 5 copper conductors improve handling around equipment and make it a practical 4C+E cable for industrial plants where large rigid cable can be difficult to route. It can also serve as a 4C+E cable for motor control centres when the feeder or associated controls require a neutral conductor. For machinery combining three-phase power with single-phase controls, the construction works as a three phase neutral earth cable for industrial machinery after current, fault and voltage-drop checks. Flexible single core X-HF-110 insulated and HFS-110-TP sheathed cable for mains, submains and subcircuits unenclosed, enclosed in conduit or in underground ducts for building and industrial plants where not subject to mechanical damage. Suitable where space is at a premium and/or where conditions of overload may occur.

Is the conductor plain copper or tinned copper?

The standard construction uses plain annealed copper unless a different conductor finish is specifically engineered and approved. A plain annealed copper 4C+E cable provides the expected conductivity and flexibility for fixed power distribution. GERITEL WIRE states conductor material and class in the approved data so buyers can check what is actually supplied.

What does the 110°C rating actually mean?

The 110°C value refers to the maximum continuous operating temperature of the conductor for the specified cable system, not a 110°C ambient room temperature. GERITEL WIRE explains the 110°C flexible multicore cable rating during application review so designers can apply the correct ambient and grouping derating.

Can the cable be used in a hot plant room?

Potentially, but high ambient temperature reduces heat dissipation and may require derating. A high temperature 4C+E cable still has to be selected using the actual ambient temperature, grouping and installation method. GERITEL WIRE provides the technical inputs needed for the project engineer's thermal check.

Is this cable LSZH?
