Single Core 12.7/24kV Aluminum Anti-Termite Medium Voltage Cable

12.7/24kV Anti-Termite medium voltage cable is durability, chemical-resistant, UV protection. Medium voltage Cable has a metal insulation screen consisting of a copper wire screen and a spiral copper tape. Copper has excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The copper wire screen ensures a low impedance path for fault current, providing a reliable grounding system. MV cable uses a metal insulation screen to prevent electrical interference and faults. It acts as a shield, providing an effective grounding path in the event of an insulation fault, thereby improving safety. In addition, the spiral copper tape ensures uniform coverage, further reducing the risk of electrical hazards.

Single core 12.7/24kV aluminum anti-termite medium voltage cable can be used for power distribution in large infrastructure, power generation stations, and mechanical equipment in mines such as mining machines and hoists that rely on medium voltage cables for power supply. Due to the humid environment in mines, cables with excellent moisture resistance and mechanical shock resistance are required to ensure safe operation.

• Conductor Screen: Extruded Semi-conductive compound

• Insulation: XLPE

• Insulation Screen: Extruded strippable Semi-conductive compound

• Longitudinal Water blocking: Water blocking tape above and below copper screen (Optional)

• Metallic Insulation Screen: Copper Wire Screen + helically applied copper tape (E/F current capacity – Based on requirement)

Composite sheath

• Inner layer: Extruded Polyvinyl Chloride, Colour: Orange

• Termite Protection: Polyamide (Nylon -12)

• Outer layer: HDPE (Black)

• Min. installation temperature: 0°C

• Operating temperature: -25°C to +90°C

• Emergency operating temperature: 105°C

(max. operation of 36 hours, at 3 periods for 12 consecutive months use)

• Max. Short Circuit Temperature: 250°C
