Mobile Home Silicone Cable for Compact Heater and Freezer Connections

Recreational vehicles and mobile homes combine compact heaters, refrigerators, ovens and ventilation equipment in tight service compartments. GERITEL WIRE provides an RV refrigeration equipment cable with flexible tinned copper conductors and silicone rubber insulation plus sheath for fixed or occasionally moved equipment connections. It may also serve as a silicone cable for electric heater assemblies when voltage, current, temperature and protection match the final appliance. Vehicle vibration, abrasion, fuel exposure and local road standards must be assessed independently; SiHF-J is not automatically an automotive approval. A silicone cable for wet locations should not be assumed suitable for submersion. The GERITEL datasheet does not describe a submersible or direct-burial construction. GERITEL WIRE recommends a cable specifically rated for continuous water exposure when the route enters tanks, trenches or flooded areas.

How can I confirm compatibility with our process chemicals?

To qualify a chemical resistant control cable, send GERITEL WIRE the chemical or SDS, concentration, exposure temperature, contact method, duration and cleaning schedule. We compare these details with the product data and can supply sample cable for the buyer's own immersion, swelling and electrical checks.
