Large Grounding Conductor for Plant Rooms and Switchboards
70mm2 protective earthing wire is formed with nineteen 2.14 mm plain annealed copper strands for large fixed-earth connections in plant rooms, switchboards, distribution assemblies and protected machinery. The V90 industrial earth cable is manufactured to AS/NZS 5000.1 with conductor construction to AS/NZS 1125. Its 19/2.14 copper grounding conductor is rated 0.6/1kV, insulated only with V-90 PVC and specified for 75°C maximum continuous operation. GERITEL WIRE can prepare project drum schedules, sequential marking, robust export packing and batch traceability. Engineers should verify fault-current capacity, voltage potential, mechanical support, bend radius and termination hardware.

Applications

 

For seperate earth conductors. For switchboard and control panel wiring. For fixed wiring within other enclosures or apparatus where the cable is not accessible without the use of tools. For use where improved aging properties to those of 75°C PVC are required because of higher ambient temperatures. Suitable for glanding

Earth wire strip length is determined by the lug or terminal manufacturer, not by a universal cable rule. GERITEL WIRE can supply samples for stripping trials so customers can confirm clean insulation removal without nicking the copper and ensure no exposed conductor remains outside the terminal.
How can I confirm the cable fits my breaker or earth bar?
Earth cable terminal compatibility depends on the terminal's minimum and maximum conductor size, copper approval, strand class and tightening method. GERITEL WIRE can provide conductor construction, approximate outside diameter and samples, helping buyers verify fit before approving a bulk order.
Can the cable be printed with the product size and standard?
