GERITEL WIRE Red Insulation SDI Cable combines a clearly identified V-90 PVC core with a white protective PVC sheath for 450/750V fixed wiring. The stranded annealed copper conductor is manufactured with controlled strand arrangement and consistent cross-section, while uniform insulation and sheathing help achieve a smooth finish and practical stripping performance. This colour option can be specified for circuit identification in mains, submains, switchboards and general building distribution, subject to the project's wiring rules. Suitable routes may include free air, conduit and protected ducts where damaging mechanical stress is avoided. Sizes from 1mm² to 16mm², customized print, reel length and export packing are available, supported by GERITEL WIRE's technical confirmation and SAA documentation.

PVC INSULATED AND SHEATHED CABLE TO AS/NZS 5000.2. For mains, submains and subcircuits unenclosed, enclosed in conduit,buried or in underground ducts for buildings and industrial plants where not subject to mechanical damage.

Industrial plant SDI cable can be used for protected fixed distribution, switchboards and suitable equipment feeds. A different product may be necessary where the route is exposed to continuous movement, aggressive chemicals, heavy impact or special fire-performance requirements.

Can GERITEL supply SDI for prefabricated building production?

Modular building SDI wire can be used for suitable permanent AC circuits in prefabricated homes and factory-built units. The installation must be secured for transport and protected from sharp metal edges during manufacturing, delivery and final site assembly.

Is the cable suitable for data centre building services?

Data centre auxiliary SDI cable may be considered for suitable fixed AC services such as lighting, ventilation controls and facility distribution. It is not a data-transmission, server-flex or fire-survival cable, so the facility specification must be checked first.
