This 16 AWG single overall shield industrial signal cable is a standard XLPE insulation XLPE/PVC TC-ER instrumentation cable, manufactured as certified XLPE/PVC Type TC-ER cable with RFH-2 insulation and rated at 600V, which supports customized 600V XLPE/PVC TC-ER instrumentation cable quote and serves as cost-effective IS/OS XLPE/PVC instrumentation cable replacement for single overall shield wiring projects. Constructed with Class B fully annealed bare copper conductors, XLPE core insulation, aluminum polyester foil overall shield paired with 20 AWG tinned copper drain wire and black PVC outer jacket, this Type TC-ER tray cable meets UL 1277 & UL 1685 standards, rated 90°C wet/dry, with sunlight resistance and -25°C cold bend performance, suitable for cable tray, conduit, direct burial and exposed run installation in control systems, alarm circuits and energy management equipment.

Product Description

 

The XLPE/PVC, 600V Instrumentation, Type TC-ER and Direct Burial Cables consist of fully annealed bare copper Class B stranded conductors (in pairs or triads), covered with Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, overall shielded or individually and overall shielded and black PVC jacket. These cables are used in control systems, audio, intercom, alarm circuits and energy management.

  • In free air, ducts, cable trays, conduit, raceways and direct burial

  • Approved for Class I, Div. 2 industrial hazardous locations per NEC

  • Permitted for Exposed Run (ER) used in accordance with NEC for 3 or more conductors; two conductors without a ground wire are Type TC only
