This 18 AWG multi-pair tray cable is a standard 18 AWG Individually and Overall Shielded XLPE/PVC TC-ER instrumentation tray cable, available in multiple pair configurations including 2 pair, 4 pair and 8 pair versions. It covers 2 pair individual overall shielded XLPE/PVC TC-ER cable, 4 pair XLPE/PVC TC-ER instrumentation cable 600V and 8 pair shielded XLPE instrumentation cable 600V to meet different signal wiring demands. Built with PVC/Nylon/PVC triple layer construction, full individual and overall shielding, the cable delivers stable anti-interference signal transmission, rated 600V, compliant with UL TC-ER tray cable standards, suitable for cable tray, conduit, direct burial and exposed run installation in industrial instrumentation, fire alarm and process control systems.

Product Description

The PVC/Nylon/PVC, 600V Instrumentation, Type TC-ER and Direct Burial Cables consist of fully annealed bare copper Class B stranded conductors (in pairs or triads), covered with Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and clear Nylon insulation, overall shielded or individually and overall shielded and black PVC jacket. These cables are used in control systems, audio, intercom, alarm circuits and energy management.

In free air, ducts, cable trays, conduit, raceways and direct burial
Approved for Class I, Div. 2 industrial hazardous locations per NEC
Used as a non-power-limited fire alarm circuit cable (NPLF) per NEC Article 760
Permitted for Exposed Run (ER) used in accordance with NEC for 3 or more conductors; two conductors without a ground wire are Type TC only
