Clean White Outer Sheath with Custom Marking for Project and Wholesale Supply

The clean outer finish of GERITEL WIRE White Sheathed SDI Wire protects the V-90 PVC insulated copper core and provides a practical surface for product identification and customized printing. Red or black inner insulation remains visible at termination points, supporting circuit recognition during installation and maintenance. The single-core 450/750V construction is intended for fixed mains, submains and subcircuits in residential, commercial and light industrial electrical systems. It may be routed through conduit, cable ducts and protected service spaces where mechanical damage is not expected. Buyers can match conductor size, insulation colour, print content, reel length and export packaging to their project. GERITEL WIRE also provides responsive specification checks and SAA compliance documentation before production.

PVC INSULATED AND SHEATHED CABLE TO AS/NZS 5000.2. For mains, submains and subcircuits unenclosed, enclosed in conduit,buried or in underground ducts for buildings and industrial plants where not subject to mechanical damage.

May the cable be supported on an open route?

SDI cable in free air may be used where the selected wiring method and local rules permit an unenclosed fixed cable. It must be adequately supported and kept away from likely impact, abrasion, repeated movement and excessive heat.

Is the product suitable for a protected underground duct?

Underground duct SDI wire can be considered when the duct system provides the required mechanical protection and the design addresses moisture, drainage, pulling conditions and derating. The standard cable is not armoured and is not intended for permanent immersion.

Can this cable run through a protected trench system?

SDI cable in protected trench routes may be used when the complete installation provides the protection required by local rules. The contractor must confirm conduit or covers, separation, burial depth, drainage and safeguards against mechanical damage.

Can I place the cable directly in soil without conduit?

Do not treat this standard product as universally approved direct burial SDI cable. Soil, moisture, depth and impact risks must be assessed, and the applicable rules may require conduit, ducting, protective covers or a different cable construction.
