Recently, Greater Cable company announced that its independently developed and produced American-standard medium-voltage cables have successfully obtained UL1072 certification. This certification covers two major medium-voltage cable series, the MV90 Cable and the MV105 Cable, with conductor insulation materials including cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) and rubber (Rubber). This certification demonstrates that Greet's technical strength and product quality in the medium-voltage cable field have been highly recognized by international authorities.

UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is a globally renowned third-party safety science organization. UL certification is a crucial entry requirement for products entering the North American market. The UL1072 standard specifically evaluates the comprehensive quality of medium-voltage cables in terms of electrical performance, thermal performance, mechanical strength, and environmental resistance. Its rigorous testing and high standards make it a crucial basis for determining whether medium-voltage cables comply with the requirements of the US National Electrical Code (NEC).

The two product types covered by this certification-MV90 Cable and MV105 Cable-are widely used medium voltage cable types. "MV" stands for medium voltage cable, while "90" and "105" represent their maximum continuous operating temperatures of 90°C and 105°C, respectively. They are suitable for medium-voltage distribution systems ranging from 6kV to 35kV.
