The Main Difference Between UL1032 Wire And UL1015 Wire

Leave a message

The main difference between UL1032 wire and UL1015 wire is their rated voltage and rated temperature. ‌

Rated voltage and temperature: UL1032 wire have a rated voltage of 1000V and a rated temperature of 90 ℃, while UL1015 wire have a rated voltage of 600V and a rated temperature of 105 ℃. This means that UL1032 wires are suitable for applications that require higher voltage, while UL1015 wires are suitable for applications that require relatively high temperature.

Both types of wires comply with UL and CSA safety standards and belong to the UL758 certification standard, used for internal connections in electrical and electronic equipment. Their main difference lies in their design and specifications to meet different electrical performance requirements. UL1032 wire are more suitable for applications that require higher electrical performance, such as internal wiring of equipment that needs to withstand higher voltages, due to their higher rated voltage and lower temperature. UL1015 wire are more suitable for environments or equipment with less stringent voltage requirements.
