This UL1277 certified 500 kcmil TC-ER tray cable is constructed with compressed bare copper conductors and integrated bare grounding wire, paired with cross-linked XLPE XHHW-2 insulation that maintains stable 90°C rating in both dry and persistently damp surroundings. Its flame-retardant, UV-resistant PVC outer jacket resists abrasion, light industrial chemicals and outdoor sunlight aging. Meeting NEC 336 exposed run standards, it can be laid openly between cable trays and equipment without extra conduit protection. Designed for high-amperage industrial trunk lines, it supports cable tray routing, aerial suspension, conduit pulling and shallow direct burial, delivering steady ampacity and long service life for factory workshops, water treatment plants and large commercial power distribution hubs.

Product Description

The XLPE/PVC, 600V Power, Type TC-ER Direct Burial Cable consist of fully annealed bare copper Class B stranded conductors, covered with oil and gas resistant Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, unshielded and black PVC jacket. These cables are used in industrial power.

In conduit, duct, free air, raceways and direct burial, primary installations include cable trays, and outdoor locations
In wet or dry locations
Approved for Class I, Div. 2 industrial hazardous locations per NEC
Permitted for Exposed Run (ER) use in accordance with NEC for 3 or more conductors
